Project Overview
The project for Uniphar involved the full electrical and mechanical fit-out of a new warehouse and office facility, delivering a comprehensive and integrated building services solution. The works commenced with the supply and installation of a new LV panel, along with a generator and dedicated fuel tank to ensure resilience and continuity of operations.
Extensive electrical infrastructure was installed throughout the warehouse, including containment systems totalling 3,146 metres, supporting lighting, luminaires, small power, and mechanical power supplies. A lighting busbar system spanning 2,166 metres was implemented, feeding 425 high-efficiency light fittings to provide optimal illumination across the facility.
In the office areas, a complete small power and lighting installation was delivered, designed to support modern workplace requirements. Sub-main cabling weighing approximately 22.936 tonnes was installed across the site, forming the backbone of the electrical distribution system.
The project also included the installation of advanced life safety and security systems, comprising a new VESDA fire alarm system, CCTV and intruder detection systems, and a fully integrated access control system. In addition, structured data cabling was installed to support communications and IT infrastructure.
Mechanical services were upgraded with the installation of new HVAC systems throughout both the warehouse and office spaces, ensuring a controlled and comfortable environment.
Overall, the project provided a high-specification, fully integrated solution, meeting the operational, safety, and technological needs of Uniphar’s facility.
