Arndale House

As part of ongoing development and improvement works across the trust, Luton & Dunstable University Hospital NHS Trust needed a partner to act as principal contractor and deliver their new Luton Sexual Health and dermatology departments. These were to be located at Arndale House, a 5-storey building atop an active multi-storey car park in the centre of Luton. The Trust wanted a company which could provide them with a state-of-the-art facility in the heart of the community in Luton, which RSR achieve

Scope of works

Design, Supply and Installation of the following:

Principal contractor for design and build.
Construct consultation & manager rooms to client spec.
Full Mechanical HVAC design and install including AHU and roof condensers.
Design and installation of electrical high and low level power.
Spec and installation of surgical lights.
Installation of intelligent lighting system.
Design and installation of CCTV and security alarm system.
Design and installation of data services including server cabinets.
Design and installation of nurse call system.
Design and installation of plumbing including hot/cold supplies and drainage.
Installation of Trovex Hydropods.
Installation of reception desks and storage cupboards.
Installation of doors throughout the new facility.
Installation of ceilings and ﬂooring throughout the facility.
Decoration of walls through facility including Tektura feature walls.
Sparkle clean on completion.

Our Work

Ravensburger

Ravensburger‘s office in Bicester is the UK arm of the well-known German jigsaw puzzle and game maker. Their first game was released in 1884 and are now world leaders in the game and puzzle industry. RSR were tasked to complete a refurbishment that included reception and office space, chill out zones, kitchen areas and toilets spanning over the course of three months. The boardroom and customer facing facilities were the main focus of the design creating a bespoke boardroom table and display units.

Print On Demand

Print On Demand

RSR were tasked with expanding an eCommerce Giant’s Print on Demand site making it their biggest worldwide operation to date. Liaising with global 3rd party suppliers in conjunction with our clients’ specifications, RSR completed the expansion works on time working around a live environment. Print On Demand has been a real game changer in recent years. A single book can be printed at minimal cost without the need of stocking physical books. This reduces the need of unnecessary storage space.

Impact Working

Impact Working is a subsidiary arm of Impact Capital Group, a group of companies which uses property-tech and modern methods to create affordable, sustainable, and smart urban office environments of the future. Our aim was to create a bespoke lighting system for a serviced office space to reflect a sense of relaxation and tranquillity. The use of unique feature lighting was used to bring the architectural design to life.
