MK Festival of Running - Supporting Pink Ribbon Foundation
Team RSR have been challenged to the MK Festival of Running in March to raise money for our chosen charity of the month - The Pink Ribbon Foundation.
The team consisting of 18 amateur runners will be taking on the 10k race and we would all appreciate your support in trying to raise as much as we can for a great cause.
Every year nearly 58,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK, that's the equivalent of one person every 10 minutes. Breast cancer is the second most common cause of death from cancer in women in the UK, with around 11,500 people dying from breast cancer every year and 1 in 8 women in the UK will develop the disease in her lifetime.
Macmillan Garden Volunteers
Staff from RSR donned their wellies and gardening gloves to help restore the garden outside the Macmillan ward at Milton Keynes Hospital. With trowels in hand, the team turned the run-down space into the ideal spot to hold a wedding for one of the ward's terminally ill patients.
